Observing a child's developmental process and knowing that I have played a part in that journey is, for me, truly magical.
Since 2009, I have worked with both neurodivergent and neurotypical children, using guided play as a tool to help them learn essential life skills and discover, step by step, how the world around them works. Through play, language comes to life, imagination and thinking skills develop, and emotions can be expressed more easily. For many children, it is easier to "show" how they feel than to put it into words, and this is where therapeutic intervention can make a significant difference.
Through speech therapy, patience, and creativity, we build a space together where the child can discover the fascinating world of sounds, words, and stories. Communication is guided by a therapeutic plan tailored to each child's needs and pace, enabling them to interact more easily and effectively with those around them—both children and adults—over time.
I believe speech therapy plays a vital role in the harmonious development of any child facing communication, language, or speech difficulties. Every bit of progress, no matter how small, can serve as a crucial building block for confidence and autonomy.
At the same time, speech therapy is not limited to children. I also offer *rehabilitative speech therapy for adults*, designed for individuals who need to regain or improve their communication skills following neurological conditions, accidents, medical procedures, or other situations that have impacted their speech and communication.
When working with adults, therapy is tailored to individual goals and needs, focusing on the recovery and practice of language, speech, and functional communication. Through patience, consistency, and adapted exercises, each stage of recovery becomes a step toward greater independence and confidence in interacting with others.
Whether working with a child just beginning their language development journey or an adult seeking to regain communication skills, I believe in the power of personalized intervention rooted in patience, empathy, creativity, and clear goals.
